Dr. Brenda Bowen has led interdisciplinary research on the Bonneville Salt Flats that has advanced our understanding of how this extreme landscape responds to changes in the environment. To help enable data-driven decision-making in this dynamic landscape, Bowen works collaboratively with scholars from across biophysical sciences, social sciences, communications, and the arts, and in partnership with stakeholders such as land managers and the land speed racing community.
