On December 5, 2018, the Global Change & Sustainability Center and the Center for Ecological Planning & Design convened an interdisciplinary research gathering and poster session focused on Red Butte Creek--from the headwaters, through the urban environment, to the Jordan River. We thank all who participated and contributed to the success of this event. A broad range of interests and approaches were represented: hydrology, wildlife, education, public engagement, and much more.
We aim to continue the momentum of the symposium to explore:
- What research has been done?
- Where are the knowledge gaps and future opportunities?
- How can disciplinary studies inform future convergent research?
